Leadership Competencies is used in management training, coaching and management audits. The questionnaire provides insight into the strengths and development areas of team leaders and team managers. The questionnaire can also be used as a starting point for leadership development projects or as a basis for 360-degree feedback.

How does it work

Leadership Competencies explores leadership style and motivation by questioning each competency in three ways:

  • How good: the degree of mastery of the competency (self-assessment).
  • How often: the frequency with which the competency is applied in practice.
  • How nice: the motivation to use the competency.

The questionnaire distinguishes between people-oriented and task-oriented competencies, and provides insight into the dominant leadership style. In addition, the questionnaire links personal goals to the competencies that are needed to further develop the team.
