Efficiently measure verbal reasoning skills with this adaptive, Cotan-rated test for selection and advice issues.
Verbal Reasoning is used for selection and advice issues where verbal or written reasoning ability is important. The test is particularly relevant for functions where information needs to be interpreted and summarized orally or in writing. Verbal Reasoning can be administered separately or as part of a broader measure of intelligence (Cognitive Ability).
Verbal Reasoning is an adaptive test that measures language and reasoning skills using verbal analogies. Candidates choose from six words exactly those that, together with the words given, form an accurate analogy. The difficulty of the questions automatically adapts to the candidate's level, making the test accurate and efficient. The test contains over 200 questions, from which the system selects the most appropriate one each time.
Verbal Reasoning has been rated positively by the COTAN and offers a reliable way to measure verbal analytical ability. The adaptive setup ensures a quick and fair measurement, tailored to the candidate's level. The report shows an IQ score and compares the results with relevant standards groups (from VMBO to WO). Customized options are available, such as reports without an IQ score or with specific standards groups per educational level.
